Payment Portal Terms of Service
Last updated: 1/18/2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of the QuantaNova payment portal (“Payment Portal”).
By accessing or using this Payment Portal, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Payment Portal
This Payment Portal is used solely to facilitate payment conversion for existing orders placed on QuantaNova-operated storefronts.
No physical or digital products are sold on this Payment Portal.
2. Payment Conversion
The Payment Portal enables customers to use credit or debit cards to complete a cryptocurrency payment required to settle an existing order.
The amount displayed is fixed and corresponds to a specific order. Funds are converted and delivered directly to a merchant-controlled wallet for immediate order settlement.
Customers do not receive, hold, withdraw, or store cryptocurrency as a result of using this Payment Portal.
3. No Wallets or Stored Value
The Payment Portal does not provide customer wallets, accounts, balances, or stored value. Each transaction is order-specific and non-reloadable.
4. Third-Party Services
Payment conversion services are provided by third-party providers, including Stripe. Use of the Payment Portal is also subject to the terms and policies of those providers.
QuantaNova is not responsible for card issuer decisions, authorization failures, or third-party service interruptions.
5. Failed or Incomplete Transactions
If a payment conversion is not successfully completed, the associated order will not be fulfilled. No goods are released without confirmed payment completion.
6. Refunds and Disputes
Payment Conversion Finality
Payments processed through this Payment Portal are used to purchase USDC via a third-party fiat-to-crypto onramp. Once the USDC transaction is completed and delivered on-chain, the payment conversion is final and irreversible.
Order-Related Refunds
Refunds, replacements, or order adjustments—when approved—are handled separately by QuantaNova stores in connection with the underlying order.
Refunds are not processed through the original card transaction and are not issued through the Payment Portal.
Approved refunds may be provided, at QuantaNova’s discretion, through methods such as:
- Replacement or reshipment
- Store credit
- Manual refund via bank transfer or other off-platform method
- USDC refund to a customer-provided wallet address (where applicable)
Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact support@quantanova.co before initiating any bank or card dispute so that issues may be resolved promptly.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuantaNova shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of this Payment Portal or third-party payment services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operating entity is registered.
